Welcome to our 2024-2025 basketball season! We are excited to share our 40th year of serving our community through basketball with you.
NJB 40th Anniversary
These Official NJB Evolution Basketballs are available for purchase. They cost $100 each, which is cost.
2024-2025 WINTER REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
Registration for our Winter season is now open. Here are some key details:
-due to Thanksgiving falling late in November, games will start a bit earlier. Opening Weekend is the weekend of 11/15.
-there is no overlap with FNL
-please e-mail any player requests to losalamitosnjb@gmail.com. You can request to play with a friend, a group of friends, or you can bring a whole team.
-Each player will get a brand new Los Alamitos NJB tote bag with their registration. This is a new and exciting product for our players.
-We have an early bird registration rate.
-We plan on playing our 5th-8th grade games on Friday nights at AIM
-3rd-4th grade games are either going to be Friday nights at AIM or Sundays at LAHS.
-Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade games will most likely be on Sundays. We are still waiting on Oak to finish their upgrade. Many Rookie games will most likely be played at LAHS
-Los Alamitos NJB is possibly the largest youth basketball league in the USA. Last Winter we had roughly 1,500 players. We are expecting huge numbers this Winter, so please register asap.
-Finally, NJB is a great option for players of all levels. We have different division based on age, experience, etc. We have players of all abilities.
Each registered player will receive an official NJB Tote Bag
NJB Divisions/Philosophy
Los Alamitos-Seal Beach NJB has been helping develop young athletes since 1984. We are a proud part of the fabric of our great Community. We have players from all over the area competing with their buddies on Sundays in a fun, competitive atmosphere.
Graduates of Los Al NJB are playing at virtually every high school in the area. Several of our athletes are also competing in college. However, this is a league that is designed for all levels of players. We brand ourself as a competitive league, with great facilities that provides an opportunity to play basketball for all levels of athletes.
Kindergarten (Co-Ed)
1st-2nd Grade (Co-Ed)=Rookie Division
3rd-4th Grade=Division 3
5th-6th Grade=Division 2
7th-8th Grade=Division 1
